The Country of Origin labeling (COOL) toolset is designed to allow users to track COOL information from purchase through sale, maintain a traceable audit path for the product, and provide COOL labels to their customers that are item, lot & customer specific.
The Country code forms the second part of the COOL label designations that you can build in the system and assign to lots and items (with the Methods of Production forming the first part of this "mix and match" data set).
EXAMPLE: By creating country codes of "ARG" and "USA", and a method of production code of "Product of" and "Processed in", you can then create a COOL Label for "Product of Argentina, Processed in the USA".
When you first enter the Country option, a Select A Country window will appear, allowing you to Exit, add a new country code, print a list of country codes or select an existing country code in order to make changes or to delete it.
Note: Although you can create your own country codes, a list of codes used by the United Nations is included as a convenience.
